String Quartet Supper Benefit Evening Sat 14th October

At the beginning of the season the club had a benefit evening for member Nikki Boniface  and her sailing partner Tom Phipps Olympic campaign in the foiling Nacra 17. During that evening there were many things that could be won by auction. Both Pat O’Leary and Ronnie Hall (ex Commodore)  put in a bid for an evening concert by the Albion String Quartet. Having won the auction they  then decided that they should bring the String Quartet to the sailing club for everyone’s enjoyment and we would make it a benefit evening to continue to help Nikki and Tom in their Olympic bid.

So, come and hear/support/see your Vice Commodore Dick Holttum (viola) and Lynne Ratcliffe (violin)  showing us their wonderful musical talents together with Nuri and Rachel, the other two members of
the Albion Quartet. The plan is to have fabulous music, food and fun…
There will be a PBSC version of Last Night of the Proms so bring your Union flag and your voices!
We will need numbers for catering purposes so please email Ronnie (Ronnie@wurly.net)  to book your places.
Cost £15.00 each, to include……wonderful music, nibbles and supper.
